The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: the Original and the New Teenage Witch, Side by Side

It's been nearly 15 years since Sabrina the Teenage Witch went off the air, but Netflix is bringing it back to life with the new one-hour drama The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Sadly, Melissa Joan Hart won't be returning as Sabrina Spellman, but we do know who's signed on: Kiernan Shipka.

You may know the 18-year-old actress from her performance as Sally Draper on Mad Men, but Shipka is leaving all that behind her and taking on a whole new role. As Sabrina, Shipka will portray "an empowered young woman, half-human, half-witch who is just beginning her dark education as a sorceress, even as she tries to maintain a normal life as a sophomore at Baxter High. Intelligent, compassionate, and brave to the point of recklessness, Sabrina is all that stands between us and the forces of darkness that threaten our world." We also couldn't help but notice the similarities between her and Hart's appearances. Perfect fit, don't you think?
