What Exactly Happens to Ramsay Bolton on Game of Thrones?

Ramsay Bolton has basically taken Joffrey Baratheon's place of most hated villain in Game of Thrones after the blond king's death. This is thanks to his raping Sansa on their wedding night and making Theon watch, feeding his stepmother and baby brother to his dogs, killing his father, cutting off Theon's penis, and so much more. So, major spoiler alert, you might be happy to hear that the terrible bastard is dead.

In "Battle of the Bastards" Jon Snow finally faces off with the villain in battle. It's a tough one, but thanks to getting more men from House Arryn, Jon and his army are able to take Winterfell back. Jon finally comes face to face with the monster and is able to punch him to a bloody pulp, but Ramsay doesn't get off that easy; he is taken to a prison cell.

You might have hated watching those dogs tear apart a woman who just gave birth, but it looks like that scene was partially foreshadowing this episode's events. Ramsay wakes up to a cell where the hounds are kept with Sansa staring at him. He eventually figures out that the plan is for his own dogs to eat him. He insists they are loyal, but Sansa reminds him that he hasn't fed them in seven days. His dogs do end up eating him — and they start with his face!

We would say that this was probably the most satisfying part of the episode, but there are a few contenders: Sansa walking away as he is screaming with a smirk on her face is one, and the other is seeing the Starks' flags waving at Winterfell once more. We're happy this week, but if there is anything this show has taught us, it's that when one crazy tyrant dies, another one always seems to pop up.
