Janet Jackson's Powerful Billboards Speech About #MeToo Will Have You Screaming "Preach!"

Janet Jackson brought her A-game to the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night, where she performed a medley of her hits "Nasty," "It," and "Throb." After rocking the stage, the 52-year-old superstar received the Icon Award and made an outstanding, passionate speech, which alluded to her support of the #MeToo and Time's Up movements.

"I believe that for all of our challenges, we live at a glorious moment for history. It's a moment when at long last, women have made it clear that we will no longer be controlled, manipulated, or abused," she told the cheering audience. "I stand with those women and with those men equally outraged by discrimination who support us in heart and mind."

Of course, that wasn't all Jackson had to say. Watch the rest of her powerful and moving speech in the video above.
