Lizzo's New Song Is All About Recognizing How Special You Are

Lizzo has new music on the way! On Jan. 26, the 33-year-old singer shared a snippet of a track she's been working on via TikTok, and it already has her mom's stamp of approval. The song appears to be a feel-good, self-love anthem about knowing your worth. "I was scared to post this 🥺🥺🥺 but i just wanted u to know— if the ones u love support you. Thats all you need! I love yall ❤️," Lizzo captioned a video of her and her mom vibing to it in the car.

In the clip, Lizzo also wrote, "I've always wanted to make my momma proud. Today was her first time hearing my new music. She told me she has ALWAYS been proud of me. (Even in my crazy rock star sleeping in my car days.) She always made me feel special. In case nobody told you yet... you're special. Keep going. I'm proud of you."

The following day, Lizzo dropped another snippet on Instagram, but there's no word of an official release date yet. So for now, these clips will hold us over.
