23 Game of Thrones Fans Who Had No Chill Over Jaime and Brienne's Reunion

At long last, Jaime Lannister and Brienne of Tarth have reunited on Game of Thrones, and fans took to social media to share their hilarious reactions to the big moment. The characters have quite the history together, and when they reunite, Bronn perfectly calls out the tension between Jaime and Brienne, telling Podrick, "He'd f*ck her, that's for sure." Then, of course, there's the moment when Jaime tells Brienne that she can keep Oathkeeper — here's why that's a big deal — and who could get over that final wave of Jaime's golden hand?!

Actors Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Gwendoline Christie opened up to Entertainment Weekly about how fun it was to film the scenes, too, with Coster-Waldau saying, "These characters are so much about holding their cards so close to their chest and they don't want to reveal how they're feeling. But we know there's history between them, that this is more than two knights meeting. But they would never acknowledge that." Christie added, "There are so many other stories begging to be told in those moments." And as for that not-so-subtle call out from Bronn? Coster-Waldau fed into fans' excitement with this confirmation of the characters' connection:

"[Bronn] tells us what the audience suspects . . . Jaime is always about Cersei and what he can do to help her and how to achieve whatever she wants. And for Brienne, it's the same — she has an oath to Catelyn Stark. She's extremely strong willed and has her honor and has to do the right thing always. Sometimes, with both of them, you just want go, 'For godssake, let it go for one second. What about what you want?' They never listen to themselves. And what I love about the end of this scene is there's some heartbreak. Because, once again, they were close. But are they ever gonna be able to talk about something other than someone else's agenda?"
