Spooky season is upon us, and nothing can beat the cozy, nostalgic feeling of curling up on a sofa and watching a Disney movie. Disney doesn't exactly do horror movies, but it has released its fair share of gently scary features!
Now that Disney+ is fully here, you'll be able to access Disney's entire movie vault, including creepy-crawly classics. While you could sift through each Treehouse of Horror episode on The Simpsons (also on Disney+), you can check out the entertainment giant's Halloween-geared movies as well. Now that zombies no longer crave brains, Seabrook High finds itself a brave new world for the integration of zombie and human high schoolers in this quirky sci-fi and coming-of-age film. Oh, and it's a musical as well! Horrifying isn't quite the word we'd use to describe this movie (and its sequel), but it'll definitely give you those spooky-season vibes.

A darker sequel to The Wizard of Oz, Return to Oz follows Dorothy when she has returned home to her aunt and uncle, both of whom believe she may be hallucinating. Just as she's about to receive electrotherapy, Dorothy finds herself back in Oz, where her friends have been turned to stone. And so, she must come up against a wicked princess and king to rescue them.
Who says G-rated movies can't be a little creepy? A classic that features an old cemetery and Headless Horseman, The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad joins "The Wind in the Willows" and "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" in this double feature. In the latter, a young man named Ichabod finds himself at a Halloween party trying to win the love of an heiress named Katrina Van Tassel, but he finds himself in a spookier situation as the night goes on.
While working at a movie theater, Pete helps his coworkers set up for a ritzy movie premiere. Weird things start happening at the theater, resurfacing rumored whispers of the phantom who haunts the megaplex.
In Tim Burton's animated Frankenweenie, a young Victor Frankenstein figures out how to reanimate Sparky, his dead bull terrier. Chaos ensues when all the other kids want to resurrect their dead pets as well.

During a family vacation, Jim, generally a nonbeliever when it comes to the supernatural, brings his wife and kids up to a creepy mansion to make a business deal. Things don't go as planned when a storm traps them there, and the Evers get caught up in the manor's curse.
Pirates aren't generally spooky, but the very first Pirates movie is a terrifying masterpiece. Jack Sparrow and Will Turner join forces to rescue the fair maiden Elizabeth and retrieve Jack's ship — where people turn into creepy skeletons under the moonlight due to a curse.

The Hansen kids find themselves grounded, so they unknowingly set their mother up with a vampire to sneak out of the house. The youngest Hansen is sure their mother's date is a vampire, so the kids end up meeting with none other than Van Helsing to sort out the situation. In this cult classic, you might recognize familiar TV stars such as Caroline Rhea, Charles Shaughnessy, and Robert Carradine.
In The Scream Team, Ian and Claire return to their father's childhood home for their grandfather's funeral. While in town for the Halloween Festival, the kids discover that the house is full of ghosts who need to redeem themselves before getting into the pearly gates of heaven.
