Snowden: What the Real People Actually Look Like

After several release date changes, Snowden finally opened this week. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is notably playing the infamous NSA whistleblower, but there's also an A-list supporting cast portraying some of the other main players in the national case. Woodley was a great choice for Snowden's girlfriend, who has mostly stayed out of the spotlight — save for when she turned up on stage in 2015 to help accept the award for Citizenfour.

Melissa Leo as Laura Poitras, Tom Wilkinson as Ewen MacAskill, and Zachary Quinto as Glenn Greenwald

Poitras is the director/producer of Citizenfour, MacAskill is the Scottish journalist who reported on Snowden's case for The Guardian, and Greenwald is the American lawyer who contributed to the series of articles.
