"She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" Features Appearances From Daredevil, The Abomination, and Wong

To say we're excited for Marvel's upcoming "She-Hulk" series would be an understatement. Our expectations for the MCU's take on Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk are pretty high, thanks to the precedent set by other Disney+ series "WandaVision," "Loki," and "Ms. Marvel" — and especially because Tatiana Maslany is playing the titular lawyer turned superhero.

Marvel shared the show's first teaser clip on May 17, with Maslany starring as Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who just wants a regular "anonymous" life before she accidentally inherits her infamous cousin Bruce Banner's (Mark Ruffalo) Hulk powers. On July 23, Marvel unveiled the full trailer for the new Disney+ series, officially titled "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law," and it offers an even closer look at Maslany's character.

The trailer begins with Walters being rudely awakened by Bruce, who is set on training her in the ways of the Hulk. Complete with fourth-wall-breaking humor, the clip teases a blend of action, comedy, and world-building. It also features appearances from a number of other MCU fixtures, including Emil Blonsky/Abomination, played by Tim Roth of "The Incredible Hulk," and Wong, played by Benedict Wong of "Doctor Strange." In the trailer's final moments, a masked figure — who is none other than Charlie Cox's Daredevil — makes a dramatic entrance.

Created by Jessica Gao, "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" recalls the title character's origin story and how she adjusts to her newfound powers. In a featurette video released on July 27, the cast and crew shared how the forthcoming series came together. "It was about putting a real human being into these absurd situations," co-executive producer Wendy Jacobson said, while Ruffalo added, "This is a radical, revolutionary show."

The new series arrives this August, so read ahead for everything we know about it — including plot details, cast, trailers, and the set release date.

"She-Hulk" Plot

The series centers on Jennifer Walters, a lawyer and cousin of the original Hulk, Bruce Banner. After receiving a blood transfusion from Bruce, Jennifer realizes she's been imbued with his Hulk powers. Unlike her cousin, Jennifer is able to retain most of her personality and intelligence when she hulks out. With Tim Roth returning as Hulk's archenemy Abomination and Jameela Jamil taking on the role of She-Hulk's nemesis, Titania, it seems that "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" will delve deeper into the overarching Hulk mythology. Marvel head Kevin Feige confirmed that the show would be a half-hour legal comedy, which is something the MCU has never done before, so think less "Daredevil" and more "Franklin & Bash."
