The Empowering Thing This WWE Wrestler Wants All Moms to Know About Their Postpartum Bodies

One week after giving birth to her son, Eve Torres Gracie snapped a photo of her postpartum body in the mirror. The former WWE wrestler's original intent was to save this raw image as her "before" photo and later post it next to her future "skinny" body like she's seen in magazines.

But four weeks quickly turned into four months, and now almost a year has passed since Raeven's birth. Even though Eve still hasn't reached her prebaby body, she finally decided to post that truthful postpartum photo — but with an entirely different message.

"I realized that the only 'after' picture that matters is a happy, healthy mommy with her happy, healthy baby," Eve captioned the empowering photo. "I wish new moms wouldn't be burdened with the pressure to get back into pre-baby shape so quickly. Exercise (when your body is ready), eat for health, love yourself and your child, and let your body do whatever it's meant to do after the amazing feat of creating a human."
