Of all the family movies coming out in 2020, several are Disney releases, the first being Onward, about two teenage elf brothers, Ian and Barley Lightfoot, who lost their father when they were young. In the film, they "embark on an extraordinary quest to discover if there is still a little magic left out there" in order to spend one last day with their father, whom Ian conjures — partially — with a magical staff.
Not only can your kids read the various stories within Onward thanks to all of the books available for purchase ahead of the film's release, but the new toys also mean they can snuggle up to an Ian plush, conjure their own imaginary beings with a replica staff, and trade mini figurines with their friends.
