After adopting a sweet 6-month-old baby girl named Emily, Sutton Foster and her husband, Ted Griffin, have learned just how much work really goes into being a parent.

"We are learning as we're going," the Younger star said during a recent appearance on Harry Connick Jr.'s show, Harry, adding that "it's a massive learning curve. She teaches you a lot."

Although she and Griffin had little experience when it came to the ins and outs of parenting, the pair has a wonderful support system. Foster gushed about how much help they're getting from their parents and described how Emily is "like the golden child" since she's the first grandchild on both sides of the family.

Foster also showed how "glamorous" being a mom can be in a sweet Instagram post that was captioned "#motherhood."

Safe to say things look like they're going well for the new mom.
