If You Love Arizona Iced Tea, Adidas's New Sneaker Collection Will Make You Real Thirsty
Calling all sneakerheads: Adidas teamed up with Arizona Iced Tea again to design the colorful shoes of your nostalgia-parched dreams. The footwear collection is inspired by Arizona's four most popular drink flavors — Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey (my personal go-to), Lemon, Mucho Mango, and Watermelon — with designs that flawlessly pay homage to the beverage brand's vivid cans and bottles.
Launched worldwide on Sept. 1, the playful range includes a total of 12 shoes for both men and women, including eight pairs of Adidas Continental Vulc sneakers (priced at $65 or $55 each, depending on the sizing) and four pairs of Adilette slides (priced at $45 each). My favorite piece of them all? The turquoise sneakers that feature the signature pink cherry blossom pattern on the side panels as a nod to the fan-favorite Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey flavor. So cute!
This isn't the first time Adidas and Arizona Iced Tea have joined creative forces to release a collaborative line. Earlier this Summer, the two companies teamed up to offer cobranded sneakers for just 99 cents at a pop-up shop in New York City, which wound up being just as chaotic as you'd imagine, causing many to leave the event empty-handed. So far, it looks like the newest Adidas x Arizona collection release has gone a bit more smoothly, although the Mucho Mango- and Watermelon-inspired shoes appear to not be available to shop online at the moment. Ahead, check out the thirst-inducing kicks and slides and shop the designs that are available on adidas.com. I don't know about you, but these shoes have me hanging onto Summer for dear life.
