This past award season, Bryce Dallas Howard had an uncommon way (by Hollywood standards) of finding dresses for the red carpet. Instead of going into fittings with designers and stylists like many of her peers, the actress revealed she goes to department stores and browses online on sites like Forward by Elyse Walker and Net-a-Porter before picking out a gown.

"I go online and fill up a bunch of shopping bags," she jokingly said.

The star quickly became known for her affordable red carpet picks and fresh off-the-rack finds. Bryce famously wore a Grecian-inspired gown from Topshop to the Critics' Choice Awards and even bought her 2016 Golden Globes gown at Neiman Marcus. She always finds the hidden gems where everyone least expects and you'll never know what she'll discover next.

She revealed that she bought the dress on a trip to Neiman Marcus. "I like having lots of options for a size six, as opposed to . . . just one option. So I always go to department stores!" she said.
