But in my mind, an icon is someone you strive to dress like all around — someone whose casual outfits you think are pretty great, too. In Gwyneth Paltrow's case, there really is no major difference between fancy events and her standard street style. Sure, she wears her hair long, silky, and straight when she expects to be photographed, but her high ponytails and baggy jeans are just as striking to me.

Ever since the early 2000s, Gwyneth has remained dedicated to relaxed outfits. The actress, director, and entrepreneur even wears button-downs and shorts to swanky parties, somehow accessorizing such simple basics so they look glamorous.
