Hilary Duff's latest vacation swimwear proves the thongkini trend is still in full swing. While traveling with friends in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the "How I Met Your Father" actor sported a playful printed suit in a silhouette that's been trending this summer. Sharing a photo of the look to her Instagram Stories on Sept. 22, she posed in a Monday Swimwear set consisting of a demi-cup underwire top and thong-style bottoms. Worn recently by celebrities like Simone Biles, Britney Spears, and Kim Kardashian, the thongkini is enjoying quite the resurgence.

The brown zebra-print top comes with a plunging V-front detail, while the matching midrise bottoms feature a high-cut back. Made from recycled nylon yarn and scraps, the swimwear is designed in the label's environmentally friendly jersey fabric. The mom of three teamed the stylish suit with a chic straw bucket hat and a bright-blue button down, adding a diamond tennis necklace and gold bracelets. To match, Duff's friend and fellow actor Alanna Masterson wore a one-piece Monday Swimwear swimsuit in the same zebra pattern on the trip.

The patterned ensemble was one of Duff's many effortless vacation outfits. On the getaway, the actor, who recently designed a fall collaboration with baby-apparel brand Carter's, also wore a sequined mustard-yellow dress, a blue triangle bikini with a matching button-down, as well as a pastel-yellow top with braided straps, which she paired with straight-leg blue jeans and a marbled clutch from Cult Gaia.
