Lizzo Pairs a Hot-Pink Thong Bikini With Chanel Fishnets

Lizzo is embracing the hottest swimwear trend as of late: the thongkini. On Sunday, the "Special" singer and Yitty founder shared photos on Instagram from her dreamy beach vacation, where she's seen on a gorgeous white-sand beach and under an outdoor shower. Wearing a vibrant bikini set in summer's most popular color, a Barbiecore-inspired fuchsia, she posed in striking snaps and reacted to Beyoncé's Lizzo shout-out on her "Break My Soul" remix with Madonna.

The singer's ribbed set from Good American consisted of a classic triangle-shaped top and high-cut thong bikini bottoms with delicate ties, all in a comfortable crinkle fabric. Layering the hot-pink suit over Chanel fishnet tights decorated with floral details, a Chanel pearl chain that she wore as a belt, and retro shield sunglasses with pink rims, the result was quite a unique styling approach. Experimenting with fashion isn't new to Lizzo — recently, she was wrapped head to toe in a Balenciaga caution-tape bodysuit for Elle UK's September cover.

Originally popular in the '80s and '90s, the thongkini has seen a strong resurgence this summer, with celebrities everywhere rocking the revealing, minimal-coverage style.
