4 Unique Ways the Cool Kids Will Be Carrying Their Handbags Next Spring
Fashion Week is all about discovering new trends and I, for one, get particularly excited when it's something that's both stylish and practical. This season, not only have we witnessed daring trends to try when we're feeling adventurous, but we've also found new hacks to try like the 2018 way of tying a sweater. My personal favorite has to be the new ways everyone is carrying their handbags.
While we're all used to seeing fanny packs worn around the waist and slung around one shoulder, designers like Maryam Nassir Zadeh and Sandra Sandor's brand Nanushka have come up with eye-catching ways to hold your handbag. From a fanny pack worn across your chest like a suit of armor to a wristlet tied around one arm, read on to see the four unique ways everyone will be carrying their bags next Spring.
The New Fanny Pack
A model at the Nanushka Spring '19 presentation showed off a new version of the fanny pack worn in front of the chest. Think of it as your suit of armor, if you will, and you'll always have an eye on your belongings.
The New Backpack
We all love a good backpack because they're just so practical. Maryam Nassir Zadeh had models walk down the runway in an interesting new take of the style, and boy, was I intrigued. The designer had models sling a small bag over their back, across one shoulder, and tie it around the waist like a belt.
The New Crossbody
Sure, there's nothing new per se about these crossbody bags, since they've been around for ages, but designer Maryam Nassir Zadeh found a way to make them feel fresh. She had models sling their crossbody around one shoulder like you regularly would, but then fastened a belt on top of it to keep the bag in place.
The New Wristlet
Wristlets are just so easy to carry, especially when you're going out for the night. Maryam Nassir Zadeh had models walk down the runway with a strappy wristlet laced up one arm. Now that's one unique way to make sure you don't lose anything!
