Everyone Is Wearing Flip-Flops to Fashion Week, and We Kinda Don't Hate It

While cowboy boots are all the rage this year, there's also one new trend that's kind of an unsung hero, if you will: flip-flops. I first noticed the trend during Stockholm Fashion Week, where I saw tons of street style stars pairing their gorgeous silk dresses and printed skirts with a simple pair of flip-flops.

At first, I was confused by it, but after staring at it for a while, I changed my mind and thought it was actually pretty refreshing. Why not keep it simple and comfortable when it's hot outside? Once NYFW started, we saw the trend make its way onto the runways too with designers like Amy Smilovic at Tibi sending models down the catwalk in polished suits paired with black flip-flops. Read on to see how everyone is making their flip-flops look like a million bucks.
