If you find yourself dreading HIIT workouts, chances are it's actually the burpees you're trying to avoid. At least that's been the case for me, ever since I tried to do HIIT in my second-story apartment. To avoid shaking the ceiling of my downstairs neighbor's place, I had no choice but to skip the sets of burpees. But without all the jumping up and down, I felt like I wasn't getting nearly as good of a workout. Thus began my search for burpee-less HIIT workouts — and now, I'm obsessed.

The truth is, if you want a full-body workout that's highly effective for fat loss and muscle building, you can get it without doing a single burpee (and you'll feel just as accomplished afterward).
