"I think it's always important to be able to make a great egg dish, and I have these prosciutto egg cups in the book, and you actually bake the eggs so they're made in the muffin pan and you can do as many as you like at a time. Then you sauté some asparagus and tomatoes, and it's a perfect meal. I feel like it's so easy that for like a millennial in their new kitchen. It's the perfect little breakfast to start with, and you can actually make them ahead and warm 'em up, which is also great, because I know everybody's busy these days."

2. A Great Salad

"Number two would have to be a good salad for when you're having your girls over and you're doing a girls' brunch. I have a great lobster salad in the book and you can sub — I know lobster's not necessarily the most easy thing to get — so you can always sub the lobster for shrimp, but it's really, it's just a really fresh, light salad, that I feel like, whenever I think of that recipe, I just think girls' brunch. Get you a mimosa, make the salad, and enjoy the day."

3. Brown Sugar Chicken

"Third would have to be my mom's brown sugar chicken. It's like my childhood in a pot, in one dish. And it's one of those things that you can make in big batches and as it sits in the fridge or the freezer, the flavors just meld and it gets better with time."

4. Apricot-Glazed Salmon

"My apricot-glazed salmon is another one-pot meal and it takes 15 minutes, which I feel like is great for anybody. The glaze is three ingredients and then you just layer in your favorite veggies and it bakes in the oven and it's done. You can use as much or as little salmon as you want, so it's great for when you're having guests over or for when you're by yourself."

5. Bananas Foster

"I feel like every millennial needs a good party trick. I have a recipe for bananas foster in the book, and I feel like it's one of those things people think is so hard, but it's actually so easy. And you get to light it on fire at the end, which is cool. You get points for that."
