Krispy Kreme Is Thanking Medical Workers With Free Doughnuts During the Coronavirus Outbreak

Krispy Kreme is stepping up to show its gratitude for healthcare workers who are tirelessly helping others during the coronavirus outbreak. The doughnut chain will soon begin giving out boxes of free glazed dozens to employees in the medical field.

The offer will be available at all Krispy Kreme locations in the US starting Monday, March 30 (National Doctors' Day), and on every following Monday through National Nurses Week, which takes place May 6-12. Healthcare workers must simply go to the drive-through, place their order, and show their employee badge as proof if they want a sweet pick-me-up to share with coworkers or bring home to their families.

Krispy Kreme isn't the only company aiding those working to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. Starbucks is also giving out free coffee for visitors who identify as a first responder or frontline worker in the medical field, and Crocs is donating shoes to that same subset of people.
