You're Going to Want to Catch This Pokémon Frappuccino at Starbucks ASAP

Pokémon Go trainers can now sip on a special-edition Starbucks Frappuccino while they stock up on Pokéballs. That's right, folks. The Seattle-based coffee shop has officially teamed up with the breakout app of the year to transform its storefronts into PokéStops and Gyms.

Starting at 11 a.m. PST on Dec. 8, 2016, a total of 7,800 Starbucks stores will become a space where trainers can come to play and engage with their fellow Pokémon devotees. As if we needed a reason to get even more excited, Starbucks is also creating a special-edition Frappuccino that trainers can "unlock" simply by locating the store within the app. The purple drink, pictured above, is a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino blended with raspberry syrup and freeze-dried whole blackberries — topped with whipped cream, naturally.

Pokémon Go's official press release noted that Starbucks was a great option for the partnership because of the company's dedication to creating spaces where people can feel comfortable interacting with one another. "We appreciate their role in creating safe, welcoming locations for people from all walks of life to come together for refreshment and social engagement," the press release said.

We might be redownloading our Pokémon Go app just so we can order that tasty-looking Frappuccino. If you're on your morning commute, be sure to stop by your local Starbucks to squeeze in a quick battle or restock your supplies!
