You'll Be Totally Jealous After Seeing the Selena Party This Texas Theater Had

Texas knows where it's at when it comes to showing its love for Selena Quintanilla. The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Montecillo in El Paso hosted special screenings of the Selena movie in honor of what would have been her 46th birthday on April 16. The theater had different props for fans to take photos with and even put out a life-size cutout of her Madame Tussauds wax figure. After seeing these photos, this is a party that you will definitely wish you had attended.

Attendees got a real movie ticket.

People came dressed as their best Selenas and posed with props.

The life-size cutout was the perfect photo op.

They even had a Selena-themed cocktail called "The Jumpsuit."

The theater gave out booklets with all of the song lyrics.

At the end, they got a paper doll kit to dress up their own Selena.

They even handed out white candles for the end of the movie.

An impersonator came out for the Saturday night evening party.

The weekend ended with Selena's tribute band Bidi Bidi Banda performing.
