Decades After Her Death, Fans Share Why They Will Always Love Selena

Selena Quintanilla tragically passed away over two decades ago, but her legacy certainly lives on as current mainstream artists cover her iconic songs and people still watch and discuss her posthumous biopic. This video is proving the late singer's lasting effect on people.

In a video produced by FBE, adults of various backgrounds were asked to watch several Selena performances and share their feelings — oftentimes through tears. At the start of the video, many of them commented on how widespread her songs became, ultimately making her a huge crossover success. On the extent of her potential, one participant said, "She could be the Mexican-American Beyoncé," while another one compared her talents to that of Michael Jackson.
