Guy Gives His Wife Surprise Harry Potter Birthday Party, Wins Husband of the Year

I would probably settle for a Harry Potter marathon with homemade butterbeer for my birthday, but after seeing this, I'm not so sure. One lucky lady's husband threw her the most epic Harry Potter-themed 26th birthday party — and it was a total surprise! She shared photos of the party on Imgur along with details about everything her husband made, and it is good. Hagrid-like birthday cake? Check. Letters delivered by Hedwig? Check. Homemade Mandrake cake? YEP.

Wondering how he made a Mandrake? "He cut a doll in half and dyed her hair green. Gruesome, but totally awesome," she said.

Broomsticks made of pretzels and Reese's, Veritaserum potion, and Dementor "kisses" take attention to detail to the next level.
