Even though Summer is all about spending time outside, that doesn't mean you can't plan a few escapes to a cool air-conditioned theater this season. The Angry Birds Movie

It's a sequel that adults and children alike have been waiting for since 2003! Ellen DeGeneres is back to voice Dory — everyone's favorite forgetful fish — in a new adventure with her friends to find her family (who she now kind of remembers!).

The BFG
Based on the Roald Dahl classic, The BFG is the story of a girl named Sophie who encounters the Big Friendly Giant. Unlike other giants, the BFG refuses to eat little boys and girls and was therefore declared an outcast for being kindhearted and gentle.

Five movies later and Scrat is still chasing that elusive acorn — this time it catapults him into the universe, which causes a domino effect that puts the Ice Age World in danger. Sid, Manny, Diego, and the rest of the herd have to leave their home as a result, leading them to new lands where they meet a lot of new characters.

Pete's Dragon
A remake of the 1977 classic, Pete's Dragon is about an orphan boy who runs from his abusive adoptive parents with his pet dragon and seeks refuge with a couple who lives in a lighthouse.
