After Living Through an "Unmitigated Disaster," 1 Stranger Left Clean Diapers in a HomeGoods Bathroom

Instead of being greeted by a messy bathroom destroyed by holiday shoppers in a rush, Christina Causland found a simple act of kindness waiting outside of a stall at her local HomeGoods.

When the California woman stopped for a bathroom break during her shopping trip, she came across a stack of clean diapers and wipes with a heartwarming note.

I once found myself in this exact same spot with a newborn with a crazy blowout and NO DIAPERS or WIPES. An unmitigated disaster, that was! Just in case you have found yourself in the same sort of pickle, I brought in some wipes and diapers to save the day. Good luck out there! Happy Holidays! β€” Sarah

Although Christina isn't a mom herself, she was so touched by this woman's effort to pay it forward and shared the good deed on Instagram. "I can definitely relate to being in a pinch and not having what I needed," she told Upworthy. "I mostly just wanted to highlight her good deed and pass it along in hopes it would inspire others to do so."

Only a parent who has experienced a blowout diaper, in public, without backup can truly understand this kind of nightmare. Sarah was hoping to help others in need among the end-of-year frenzy and also managed to spread some much-needed holiday spirit one clean diaper at a time.
