i think its natural but you still need to think of safety... something being natural doesn't indicate that there's no way to eliminate risk. we also took a lot of precautions with out crib...having a firm foam mattress cut so big that there is no chance to get stuck, not using bumpers, and not keeping a lot of blankets or toys in it but we cosleep a lot more than let her crib sleep... i like that proverb~!
