Twin Sisters Gave Birth in the Same Hospital on the Same Day Just 4 Hours Apart From Each Other

Natalie and Leanne Paulson are fraternal twin sisters who both work as care assistants at the Leicester Royal Infirmary, the UK hospital where they gave birth just six hours apart from each other. Although Natalie's due date wasn't until a week later, she miraculously ended up giving birth on the same date as Leanne, who just so happened to be a week late!

Leanne gave birth to a boy, Carter, at 6:17 p.m. and Natalie gave birth to a girl, Mila-Rose, at 12:02 a.m. that next morning. Natalie told The Daily Mail, "I knew it would be close but I never imagined we would be in rooms next to each other giving birth. The nurses couldn't believe it." Adding, "It was an amazing experience because we've always shared everything."

While it is quite an incredible story, this does appear to be an ongoing phenomenon with twin sisters — even identical twin sisters, which seems especially surreal. Natalie and Leanne insist that their amazing birth story was absolutely unplanned and purely coincidental.
