You'll Want to Move Into This Fixer Upper Home — Until You Realize It's a Flippin' Dollhouse!

Like many women, Kwandaa Roberts, an ob-gyn and mom of two, loves HGTV's Fixer Upper. Unlike many women, however, she's taken her obsession with the show coupled with her passion for interior design and channeled it into an unlikely hobby: she created the most impeccable miniature homage to Chip and Joanna Gaines's modern farmhouse aesthetic in the form of a Magnolia dollhouse befitting a jaw-dropping small-screen "reveal."

"The dollhouse was a way for me to have a creative outlet for designing that didn't involve me redecorating my house every six months," Kwandaa told POPSUGAR; she bought the Hearth & Hand for Target Magnolia dollhouse for $130 and, in true Fixer Upper fashion, flipped it.

Although she doesn't consider herself "particularly crafty," she gut-renovated the dollhouse — she removed the wall on the first floor to create an "open concept living space" and then got to work decorating. She dip-painted a decorative ladder for the bathroom, printed off subway tile kitchen backsplash on glossy photo paper, and even made a miniature version of Chip's memoir for the bedside table. And, of course, the living room boasts miniature clapboard shiplap.

Although she keeps getting offers to buy the dollhouse, she told us she has no plans to sell.

Now that she's completed this house, which took roughly two months and cost her $200 ("at least, that's what I hope I spent," she joked), she's already on to the next. "Since Christmas, I bought three more dollhouses: a colonial, a Victorian, and a seaside mansion," she said. "I plan to redecorate them and put them on a 'cul-de-sac' in my craft room — which was converted from a walk-in closet just for my dollhouses — away from my 3- and 5-year-old children."

The only hitch in her dollhouse design plans? "I have now had countless requests for design help with real houses . . . so I may not have much time for my minis."
