Democratic Congress Members Expertly Trolled Trump With 8 Letters

President Donald Trump is not having a great week. After failing to win enough votes to repeal the Affordable Care Act, he now faces another challenge from Democratic senators who announced a new bill: the MAR-A-LAGO Act, which stands for "Making Access Records Available to Lead American Government Openness." Ironically enough, the bill's acronym spells out a phrase that might look familiar. It's the name of Trump's Florida estate.

First introduced by Senators Tom Udall of New Mexico, Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island, Tom Carper of Delaware, and Rep. Mike Quigley of Illinois, the MAR-A-LAGO Act would require Trump to release a visitor log of whoever visits the White House and Mar-a-Lago, which Trump has referred to as "the Winter White House."

"By refusing to release the White House visitor logs, President Trump is only validating the rampant concerns about who may be pulling the levers in his administration," Udall said in a statement. "The president should end his administration's disturbing pattern of stonewalling information and immediately reinstate the previous administration's policy of publishing White House visitor logs. And given President Trump's unprecedented decision to conduct official business at his private business properties, the Trump administration has an obligation to make public the visitor lists at places like Mar-a-Lago and Trump Tower."

This bill, which is unlikely to pass through a Congress controlled by Republicans, comes after President Trump reportedly spent five weeks at his Palm Beach, FL, estate during his first 100 days in office. Keep reading to see some of the best reactions to the petty bill ahead.
