The night of Nov. 8, model Ebonee Davis cried herself to sleep. Following Donald Trump's shocking upset, Davis felt concerned for her safety and future as a black woman. Instead of feeling paralyzed by those concerns, however, she took to the New York City subway and let them all out through spoken word.

In a video for High Quality Human Beings, the Calvin Klein model and activist shared her thoughts with fellow subway passengers with the hope that it would encourage others to open up as well. After a moment of hesitation, Davis said, "Why are we hating one another? Look at your neighbor. They are not from the same place as you, they may not look like you, but they are the same as you." She ended by saying, "We have to heal one another. Tell your neighbor you love them. Tell your neighbor you're here for them."

The end of her impassioned and emotional speech was met with resounding applause. Watch the full touching moment above.
