Lauren London Honors Nipsey Hussle a Year After His Death: "I Stand Strong Because of You"
Lauren London is remembering Nipsey Hussle one year after his death. On March 31, the 35-year-old actress honored her longtime partner on Instagram with a photo of the two at his Marathon Clothing store along with a heartbreaking note, which reads as follows:
Time is deceptive
It's been a year since you transitioned
The pain is as heavy today as it was a year ago
God knows I would give anything to see you again
I didn't think I was going to survive a second of any of this
Prayers have kept me together
The kids keep me going and
Gods Grace and Mercy have carried me this far
As today makes a year
I stand strong because of you
Because I know you wouldn't have it any other way
Because I recall every late night conversation we had about resilience and fear
Because you were my greatest teacher and because you are still with us, in spiritWith

Lauren and Nipsey had been together since 2013 before he was fatally shot outside of The Marathon Clothing in Los Angeles in March 2019. They have a 3-year-old son named Cross. Lauren also has a 10-year-old son with ex-boyfriend Lil Wayne, and Nipsey had a young daughter, Emani, from a previous relationship.
