Once Again, Taylor Swift Did Something Incredible For a Fan

Whether you're a fan of Taylor Swift or not, you can't deny how powerful her actions are. When she recently asked Apple to pay artists during the free three-month trial of Apple Music, the company listened. And now, after donating $50,000 to a fan with cancer on GoFundMe, the crowdfunding company has also changed its maximum donation policy.

About a week ago, Taylor donated $50,000 to Naomi Oakes's GoFundMe page to treat her leukemia after seeing a video of Oakes discussing her love for the artist. However, Taylor had to post her donations in a series of four portions, since the maximum donation limit on GoFundMe was set at $15,000.

This touching action by Taylor inspired the GoFundMe team to raise its maximum donation limit to $50,000. "Taylor Swift's donation was so generous that it required us to increase the donation limit on the platform," said Rob Solomon, the CEO of GoFundMe in a blog statement. "What Ms. Swift has done for Naomi and others can inspire the next generation of giving."

Consider it another example of Taylor's love for her fans and wanting to make the world a better place — something we can all learn from, whether famous or not.
