Don't Freak Out, but Disney Cruises Already Announced Its Plans For Halloween

If you've never considered spending Halloween aboard a Disney Cruise, a new announcement might make you change your mind. In anticipation of the spooky holiday, Disney Cruise Line revealed the many events and activities it has planned as part of Halloween on the High Seas.

The festivities will officially begin on the Disney Magic, Wonder, Dream, and Fantasy on Sept. 2, with dates differing depending on the ship. The participating ships will offer themed menu items, live entertainment, and elaborate decorations, like the storied Pumpkin Tree that is located right in the middle of the ship. Throughout the entire trip, Disney will also be airing Halloween-themed movies on all televisions.

According to a press release, Halloween on the High Seas will also include several special events. There's Mickey's Mouse-querade Party, a costume party that will involve dancing, trick-or-treating, and games. Haunted Stories of the Sea will allow travelers to gather under the stars and listen to scary stories from a mysterious captain. The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing and Scream is described as an "interactive movie experience" where travelers can meet Jack Skellington and Sally afterward. There will also be a Creepy Cabaret music performance with "ghostly musicians."

While the entire cruise is fun for guests of all ages, Disney will also be hosting a few nighttime events for adults, including an adults-only costume contest with appearances from a few famous villains. Since Disney was recently named the top private island cruise line, we're sure this will be an unmatched experience.
