Keeping Up With Khloé Kardashian's Tattoo Collection

Though the Kardashian-Jenner family has spilled many juicy secrets on reality television over the years, Khloé Kardashian's small but meaningful tattoo collection is definitely among the subjects that remain lesser known. The 39-year-old entrepreneur has four tattoos that we know of (so far), each representing something personal and sentimental to the "Kardashians" star. And despite her collection being rather small, she has revisited and updated her pieces of body artwork over the years.

In 2015, Kardashian first shared with her Instagram followers that she was permanently removing her lower-back tattoo spelling "Daddy" alongside a cross — the first-ever tattoo design she got when she was just 16. Despite its sentimental ties to her late father, Robert Kardashian, she decided to laser it off due to its placement. "You don't put a bumper sticker on a Bentley," Kardashian quoted her older sister Kim Kardashian's advice as she shared a video documenting the laser process on social media. As it later turns out, she wasn't alone in opting for that tattoo. In a 2021 appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Kris Jenner revealed that she also got a matching cross etched "on her booty." However, it isn't clear if the momager still has her twin tattoo.

Besides her first ink, the Good American cofounder dedicated another beautiful script tattoo to her father and has a matching design that she got with her ex-husband Lamar Odom.

Ahead, we've rounded up all of Kardashian's tattoos, including the ones she's had removed. Read on to learn all about each design's significance to the star.

Khloé Kardashian's "LO" Hand Tattoo

Kardashian used to have the letters "LO" inked in cursive script on the back of her right hand between her thumb and index finger. The ink, which represents the initials of ex-husband and basketball player Lamar Odom, is one half of the couple tattoo the former pair got shortly after marrying back in 2009. The NBA star also has Kardashian's initials "KO" tattooed in the same location on both his hands.

However, following their divorce in 2016, both have gotten their tributes for each other removed. Though exactly when the star did so is unclear, its noticeable absence suggests it was sometime around late 2016.

Kardashian has the script "I Love You" inked on the inside of her right wrist, which is a beautiful tribute to her late father, Robert Kardashian, who passed away in 2003 after being diagnosed with esophageal cancer. During a 2009 appearance on "The Wendy Williams Show," she revealed that the sentimental piece is done in her father's handwriting, replicated from an old birthday card she received from him.

Kardashian's own name initials, "KK," are also etched in white ink beneath the "I Love You" on her right wrist. The ink is a powerful expression of self-love, and is hard to see in photos.

Khloé Kardashian's "Daddy" Back Tattoo

The mogul got the word "Daddy" in a cursive font tattooed alongside a cross on her lower back when she was just 16. Though the piece of ink is dedicated to her father, she decided to laser it off in 2015. "The end of an era…" she wrote in the Instagram caption documenting the removal process. "Got this bad boy when I was 16… Not so cute anymore. I should've listened to Kim when she told me 'you don't put a bumper sticker on a Bentley.' Bye-bye bumper sticker!!!"

In case you missed it, she's referencing her older sister's iconic response to why she remains tattoo-free. The Skims founder shared this stance on tattoos during a 2009 interview with Wendy Williams.
