I used the Olay Super Serum for one week straight to really put it to the test. Because I constantly test out skin-care products, it's not every day that something leaves a lasting impression, but the Super Serum definitely did. The first thing I noticed about it is the color — it has a beautiful purple iridescent hue. I was curious to see if it left a cast on my skin, but it took only seconds to blend and left me with an out-of-this-world glow.

I am by no means minimal when it comes to my skin-care routine, so I layered this with other products like a toner, moisturizer, eye cream, and oil, and everything worked together beautifully. The serum is formulated with activated niacinamide, which is a heavy hitter in the world of skin-care ingredients. With lasting benefits that can be seen and retained with regular use, I recommend this serum to anyone who wants a simplified skin-care routine. However, it's likely not going to be as effective at reducing the appearance of wrinkles and loss of elastin as something more potent, like retinol.
