It's official. The contract is signed and the US Weekly editor will receive $1.2M a year.

... So they made it a Comedy. This is being debated around Hollywood since the hour long soap about suicides and murders is not a typical sitcom, yet it was nominated within the same category. Either way, they were going to get plenty of nominations so what made ABC push for the comedy category? It seems like a Desperate move that worked out really well for them, but is it selfish? Defamer and Gawker include their IM banter of the topic and they say ABC was greedy. They also say Lost has no shot - let's hope they are wrong on that one.

GMA sends congrats to Today Show
Today won the ratings race (barely) for 500 consecutive weeks. To show they are not sore losers, the GMA folks sent 500 yellow and blue balloons to the Today show headquarters. How sweet.

He no longer plans to perform as a solo artist after a concert in Dublin, on Sept. 17. He will still produce, but like Jay-Z's Encore, I came, I saw, I conquered, From record sales, to sold out concerts, Marshall Mathers has done the same and fells he has nothing else to say as "Eminem."
