Drew and Hugh were busy in NY this weekend on the set of Music and Lyrics. The film is about a washed up singer played by Hugh who is given a chance to write a hit song for a teenage pop star. The problem is, he's never written a lyric before in his life. Drew plays another songwriter who he teams up with. It's a romantic comedy, so you can guess what happens next. We've seen them on the set back in March so we're guessing they are doing some re-shoots to make the movie even more fabulous for the Valentine's Day weekend opener in 2007.

Lance seemed in good spirits last night at the VH1 Big in 06 Awards but it turns out that was not the case. After less than a year of being a couple Lance and Reichen are calling it quits. His rep said only, "They have broken up." This seems surprising to us, considering this relationship is what forced Lance to come out of the closet. Unfortunately, nothing lasts long in Hollywood.

We're here in the press room before the FOX Billboard Music Awards, and we just got done chatting with the adorable and super-sharp Kristen Bell, whose CW show, Veronica Mars, just got picked up for the remainder of the season. Congrats, Kristen! Here's what she had to say about the little show that could:

"The fans are not big in numbers but they're mighty in their roar. I'd much rather be on a show where people are so passionate about it than a show that everybody watches just because it's on."

We asked Bell why she thinks her show has such a cult following, and she gave credit to the writing staff, saying "they tackle a lot of issues that a lot of shows don't, like date rape and single parents families, and they present them in a realistic manner without being preachy."

Bell will be presenting tonight at the Billboard Awards (and, oddly enough, sharing the stage with Def Leppard). As for her fashion, she plans to wear a simple but elegant Donna Karan dress with a bubble hem. We can't wait to check out how she looks on the red carpet in a few hours.

Christina has come a long a way since her "Dirrty" days, but it looks like she hasn't entirely ditched the bad girl attitude. Apparently she threw a temper tantrum and stormed out of her own 1920s-themed aftershow party at London’s Paper club after Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman showed up and stole her thunder. The party-loving pair rocked up in the wee small hours and plonked themselves down beside her in the VIP area.

Furious Aggy gave them a killer stare and turned her back before bailing out soon after, leaving them to rule the dancefloor.

The gorgeous gatecrashers stayed until the bitter end then snuck out with jumpers over their heads to hide their bleary eyes from snappers like true party professions.

Kate Moss hosted a charity auction event to benefit the Sam & Ruby Charity on Friday night in New York. Her wardrobe choice included a fur jacket which has further infuriated anti-fur organizations who are already upset with Kate for continuing to be the face of Burberry, which has refused to abandon fur in its collections. The World Society for the Protection of Animals has written her a letter, pleading with her to boycott fur. Their call has been echoed by both the RSPCA and the Coalition to Abolish the Fur Trade.

In particular, she has drawn criticism in her role as the face of Burberry, which has refused to abandon fur in its collections.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA, has launched an internet site, BloodyBurberry.com, featuring dead animals superimposed on images of models.

The model is also accused of hypocrisy for staying with Burberry while signing a £50million contract with anti-fur company Topshop.

It sounds as if Britney had a very busy birthday weekend. In addition to dinner at Mr Chow's, she took Sean Preston to the Los Angeles Zoo, accompanied by one of her backup dancers with whom she was seen holding hands at Area two nights ago. She then hit the Roosevelt with greasy Brandon Davis. According to Page Six, "They got along so well, our spy even caught them in the bathroom together." Interesting but we so hope it's not true.
