After celebrating her 26th birthday with all her famous friends some F-Listers and goats, Paris, Stavros and some of their closest friends drove to the desert outside Las Vegas and jumped out of a plane with strangers strapped to their backs. As far as we can tell, everyone landed safely. I bet it was hot.
Taye Diggs was looking studiously studly in his glasses at the Diamond Information Center after party the other night. We haven't seen much of Taye since his ABC show, Day Break, was canceled after only 6 episodes, but it looks like the network is going to give him another chance. A few days ago we told you about a Grey's Anatomy spin-off starring Kate Walsh. Now it looks like Taye will join the cast as well. It's an interesting pairing. We can't wait to see what ABC has in store for these two.
As some of you may know we are a little giddy about the Oscars tomorrow. It's Hollywood's biggest night of the year and we wanted to make it just as exciting for all of you watching at home. Earlier in the week, Drew and Cameron took off to celebrate Drew's birthday in Hawaii and she has been spending her days enjoying the island ever since. It appeared that Lindsay skipped the memorial service of her dear friend Robert Altman to do a little post rehab club hopping. It turned out, however, that this is not the whole story. While she didn't make it to the NY service, apparently, there is going to be an additional one in LA that Lindsay will attend. Stay tuned to see if Linds' takes the time off from checking out all of the newest hot spots to pay homage to her "father figure."
The video for Avril Lavigne's new single, Girlfriend, is, well, exactly what you might think would come of the entire chain of Hot Topic stores exploding onto MTV. The pre-teen-y nature of the video seems a little, uh, insincere, coming from Avril who has recently talked openly about growing up and embracing glam more than punk. That being said...the song is already stuck in my head.
