The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, stopped by a Zara in London today with her royal protection officer. Kate left the shop with a bag full of new goodies and already looked quite chic for the outing in a black pleated skirt and knee-high boots. The duchess is prepping for her first Christmas as a full-fledged member of the royal family and is expected to visit with the queen and Prince Philip at their Balmoral estate. Kate Middleton has taken shooting lessons as well in preparation for the traditional Boxing Day pheasant shoot there on Dec. 26 and has had personal help from Prince Charles’s hunt attendant.

This holiday season, Kate may need to offer some extra love to her newly single sister Pippa. Pippa and long-term boyfriend Alex Loudon have parted ways, but it seems that she's already getting a shoulder to cry on from aristocrat pal George Percy. Pippa spent last weekend at George's family home Alnwick Castle, which was used as the Hogwarts school in the Harry Potter movies.

Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner brought the Breaking Dawn Part 1 press tour to Germany this afternoon. The costars suited up for their latest red carpet appearance, which comes just a day after they popped up in Spain to promote the film. The fourth installment in the franchise was released early today and has already seen success. Breaking Dawn Part 1 made over $30 million in midnight showings, kicking off an exciting opening weekend.
