Stephen Baldwin is a born-again Christian and a proud conservative. He's currently in Tampa for the Republican National Convention, and we spoke with him on Wednesday during an event for The Creative Coalition, a group that advocates for funding of the arts. Stephen told us about the issues that matter most to him, including the arts and the budget, and shared his anti-abortion point of view. He also offered insight into what it's like to debate politics with his left-leaning brother, Alec Baldwin. Watch now.
Hollywood came to Tampa this week for the Republican National Convention on behalf of The Creative Coalition, a nonpartisan nonprofit that advocates for funding of the arts. At the convention, Evan Handler of Sex and the City and Californication was among the actors gathered to talk to policy-makers about the importance of funding the National Endowment For the Arts and to promote the educational and economic benefits of the entertainment industry. At a reception on Wednesday, I had a chance to interview Evan, who told us that he wants his 5-year-old daughter to have the same access to the arts in public schools that he did. We also chatted with him about women's issues like abortion and birth control. Wach now!
Cameron Diaz turns 40 today, and we're celebrating with a look back at her sexiest bikini moments! Between her surf sessions and relaxing vacations in tropical locations, it's no surprise Cameron's often spotted showing off her fit frame in a tiny two-piece. Happy birthday, Cameron, and here's to many more fun-filled days on the beach!
Kate Hudson opened up about her son Bingham Bellamy while doing press for The Reluctant Fundamentalist at the Venice Film Festival this week. During an interview with her costar Riz Ahmed, Kate spoke about giving her son Bing British roots so he understands the homeland of his dad, Muse rocker Matt Bellamy. Get the latest on Kate in Italy — and hear about her love for London — in today's PopSugar Rush.
Gisele Bundchen took her son Benjamin Brady to a park in Boston this afternoon. The duo are hanging out in Massachusetts while dad Tom Brady logs preseason practice time with the New England Patriots. The Pats went to New Jersey last night for a match against the New York Giants, but Tom actually sat things out. He took a breather from a packed schedule that included three games in 10 days but still has the unwavering support of Pats owner Robert Kraft. Robert Kraft praised Tom for his presence both on and off the field, saying Tom's "just got that quality. Certain people have that sincerity. He's a very genuine guy. People can relate to him. People can trust him." Tom will log more time on the road in the coming week, as his squad plays the Tennessee Titans away on Sunday. Gisele, though, is home after her own trip. Gisele promoted a teeth-whitening system on a trip to Brazil recently, showing that her second pregnancy isn't slowing her down.
Jay-Z carried his baby daughter, Blue Carter, this afternoon as they got off a helicopter in NYC. Jay and Blue were back in Manhattan after reportedly spending much of August at a rental in the Hamptons. If rumors about their renting a $400,000-per-month pad called Sandcastle are true, Jay-Z, his wife Beyoncé Knowles, and Blue would have been close to their good family friends Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. Chris and Gwyneth have been hunkering down at their own beach home. Gwyneth and Chris made a rare public appearance together recently at a screening of Jake Gyllenhaal's End of Watch. Jay-Z has his own big project to focus on at the moment with the long-awaited opening of Brooklyn's Barclays Center on the horizon. He championed bringing the sports and music arena to his home borough, and will officially open the space with a string of concerts next month.
Kate Middleton and Prince William attended a Paralympics cycling event in London Thursday. The spirited couple took part in the wave while sitting in the audience. See their cute candid moment and learn more about their upcoming trip abroad, which includes a special Princess Diana tribute, in today's PopSugar Rush.
