Jennifer Lawrence clinched a SAG Award this evening for her role in Silver Linings Playbook. She walked up to the stage in her navy-blue Dior gown and began her speech with her latest enigmatic comment, thanking MTV and saying she'd explain why. Jennifer went on to describe how MTV is responsible for her being a SAG member, since she got her membership card from starring in a commercial for MTV's My Super Sweet Sixteen. When she clinched a Golden Globe win two weeks ago, Jennifer also had people wondering what she said "I beat Meryl!" That, of course, was a quote from The First Wives Club.

Tonight, Jennifer went on to give a shout-out to Silver Linings director David O. Russell and their "rascal" producer Harvey Weinstein. Jennifer, who attended the SAGs despite being sick with pneumonia recently, ended with a heartfelt thank you to her family.

Marion Cotillard made a splash on the red carpet at the SAG Awards in LA tonight wearing a two-colored Dior gown. She's up for the outstanding performance statue for Rust and Bone, a role that has garnered her plenty of attention this award season. Marion was also nominated at the Golden Globes and the Critics' Choice Awards earlier this month, though she didn't pick up any prizes at those shows. Jon has been nominated for both awards over the past five years but has only won two SAGs — one in 2009 and the other in 2010 — for outstanding performance by an ensemble.

Ben Affleck and Hugh Jackman brought their movie-star smiles to the SAG Awards tonight in LA. Both Ben and Hugh suited up in dark looks for the big event and stopped to chat on the red carpet. Hugh has a big night ahead of him, as he is not only up for two SAG Awards — outstanding performance by a male actor in a leading role and outstanding performance by a cast for Les Misérables — but he will also be presenting at the event. Hugh took home the award for best actor in a musical or comedy at the Golden Globes earlier this month. Ben, meanwhile, is up for outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture for Argo and brought wife Jennifer Garner to the show. Jennifer wore a gold, sequined gown after also showing support for Ben at the Producers Guild Awards last night.
