Editors' Picks: Entertainment Must Haves For April

While the Fast and the Furious movies of the past have been purely fun occasions, there is a heaviness to Furious 7. The cast has been speaking out about their late costar Paul Walker, and we'll all get to see him ride one more time. This is a must see for fans, and even if you don't have an emotional connection to the films, go for the epic-looking stunts.

After an excruciating wait, Starz's drama is back for the rest of season one on April 4. When we come back, Jamie and Claire will be basking in the glow of newly wedded bliss, but alas, if you know anything about the Scotland-set time-travel fantasy, you know that the road ahead is rocky indeed. We still can't wait to be reunited with sexy Sam Heughan.

All it took was the trailer for us to lose our damn minds over Scott Eastwood in Nicholas Sparks's latest film. He takes on heartthrob duties opposite Britt Robertson in the new romantic drama. Yes, it looks like it's just as cheesy as previous Sparks movies, but who cares? He's a cowboy! Check it out in theaters on April 10.

Summer music festival season is upon us, officially kicking off with Coachella, which takes place in the Southern California desert on the weekends of April 10-12 and April 17-19. If Drake, Florence + the Machine, and the hipster scene aren't your thing, be sure to stick around in Indio, CA, because the country-themed Stagecoach takes place the weekend after.

Netflix is debuting its latest original series, a collaboration with Marvel, on April 10. Starring Charlie Cox and Deborah Ann Woll, Daredevil introduces Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer who fights crime after hours. This could be a match made in heaven, and we're already digging the gritty character posters.

It's that wonderful time of year again when Game of Thrones sweeps back into our lives, dazzles us with battles, dragons, and drama, and kills all our favorite characters. (Kidding, mostly.) Season five comes back on April 12 with higher stakes than ever — just check out the pictures and the trailers, and that's not the only delight coming to your Sunday nights. Veep and Silicon Valley are also back on HBO this month!

Amy Schumer hosts this year's MTV Movie Awards, which are the younger, hipper event of award season. Schumer is one of TV's funniest comics, so we expect her to be as entertaining as the unfiltered audience usually is on April 12.

Blake Lively steps onto the big screen for The Age of Adaline on April 24, and we're excited for the fantasy movie because of its gorgeous Gossip Girl lead, the sumptuous costumes, and the sexy love interest, Michiel Huisman. Just look at all the pictures for some eye candy.
