17 Movie Characters Who Made 2015 the Steamiest Year in History

Captain America (Chris Evans) hasn't really had a solid love interest in the Avengers movies thus far, which is cool with us since we haven't stopped imagining ourselves as married to Steve Rogers from the moment we laid eyes on him. He's not always the most exciting or interesting guy of the bunch, but if his loyalty and innocence (and his biceps) don't make you want to scream "God bless America," then nothing will.

Bill Hader nails Aaron's character in Trainwreck, playing the goofily endearing doctor to Amy Schumer's boozy, out-of-control magazine writer. He's adorable and kind without being a doormat and the perfect example of someone you'd want to take home to Mom and Dad.

Do you even remember watching Cinderella? No? It's cool, we don't either, since we were way too busy getting lost in Richard Madden's bright blue eyes. Prince Charming, indeed.

Say what you will about Fifty Shades of Grey, but there's no denying the movie's male lead, Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan), is surface-of-the-sun levels of hot. Mark Watney is an absolutely perfect role for actor Matt Damon. He's able to show off his comedic skills as well as showcase the emotional highs and lows of his whole "I got abandoned on Mars with only a few weeks of supplies left and I'm probably going to die in a hot minute" situation.

Gale (Liam Hemsworth) has always been stuck playing second fiddle to Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) when it comes to romancing Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence), but this Hunger Games hunk's brooding, intense stare and ceaseless bravery never fails to turn our legs into jelly.

Michiel Huisman proves himself to be sexy as hell in any role time and time again, and his performance as Ellis Jones in The Age of Adaline is no different. Ellis faces Adaline's condition (and the fact she once boned his father) with grace and kindness in a movie that's basically one long montage of swoon-worthy scenes.

Andre (Donald Glover) might not be the bulkiest dude in Magic Mike XXL, but there's something about the artistic, soulful singer/rapper at Rome's strip club that really steals the show and makes us yearn for more episodes of Community.

Paul Rudd's Scott Lang has just the right amount of silly, sarcastic charm to make up for the fact his superpower involves flying on the back of an ant. As always, Rudd steals nearly every scene he's in, and the chemistry between him and Hope (Evangeline Lilly) is electrifying. Also, did we mention his abs?!

It's hard to pin down Tony's (Emory Cohen) appeal, but if you see Brooklyn, there's no way you won't fall for the sweet Italian guy. He's a smooth talker, but he's also ridiculously sweet. Sure, he's adorable, but he just has this air about him that gives you butterflies in your stomach — just ask Eilis (Saoirse Ronan).

Isaac (Seth Rogen) brings the laughs in this holiday comedy, but Ethan (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is the one you'll fall in love with. He's funny, devoted to his friends, and pretty broken inside. The perfect recipe for romance!

Just look at Michael B. Jordan as Adonis in Creed. Not only did he get in crazy-great shape, but the character is someone you won't be able to resist, especially after to see him bonding with his father's nemesis, Rocky (Sylvester Stallone).

The Longest Ride might be yet another formulaic Nicholas Sparks romance, but Luke (Scott Eastwood) is so smokin' hot, it's more than enough to make up for it. The love story between the muscular bull rider and naive college coed Sophia (Britt Robertson) isn't groundbreaking, but any excuse to put a shirtless Eastwood on the big screen is a good enough excuse for us. Luckily, that's a Sparks specialty.

Aloha didn't exactly click with critics, but it certainly isn't because of Bradley Cooper. He's adorable as Brian Gilcrest, a military contracter who returns to Hawaii and finds himself in the middle of a love triangle.

We can't get enough of Four (Theo James), the dashing, heroic character who's made a habit of kicking ass and taking names in the Divergent film series. Thankfully there are two more installments of the dystopian franchise to keep our love for him burning bright for years to come.

Hollywood newcomer Taron Egerton kills it as Eggsy in the ridiculously fun action flick Kingsman: Secret Service. All eyes were on Eggsy, from cuddling with a little pug to saving the world (casually).

Owen (Chris Pratt) is the rough-and-tumble answer to Jurassic World's prim and proper Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard), and while their relationship lacked the spark we were hoping for, Owen's manly man swagger is A++ in our books.
