Classic Chili Dog

Ingredients

  1. 1 9-inch all-beef hot dog
    1 hot dog bun
    2 tablespoons mustard
    1 tablespoon onions, diced
    1/3 cup chili
    2 tablespoons cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

  1. Add hot dogs to a large skillet and add 1 inch of water to the bottom. Cover with a tight-fitting lid. Cook over high heat, until the hot dogs are hot. (Add more water if you run out of steam before the hot dogs are fully heated.)
  2. Fill a large pot with a few cups of water and bring to a boil. Carefully set a cooling rack over the top of a pot, lay hot dog buns on top, and steam until they are warmed through.
  3. Place hot dog in the bun, and top with mustard, onions, chili, and cheddar cheese.

Millenium Dog

  1. 1 13-inch jalapeño hot dog
    1 hot dog bun
    1/3 cup chili
    2 tablespoons shredded lettuce
    1 tablespoon diced tomato
    2 tablespoons guacamole
    1 tablespoon grilled onions
    3 slices bacon, cooked

Directions

    5 onion rings
    2 tablespoons barbecue sauce

Directions

  1. Add hot dogs to a large skillet and add 1 inch of water to the bottom. Cover with a tight-fitting lid. Cook over high heat, until the hot dogs are hot. (Add more water if you run out of steam before the hot dogs are fully heated.)
  2. Fill a large pot with a few cups of water and bring to a boil. Carefully set a cooling rack over the top of a pot, lay hot dog buns on top, and steam until they are warmed through.
  3. String onion rings onto hot dog before placing in it the bun; drizzle with barbecue sauce.
