To celebrate Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang going 3D on the big screen, we're doing it the only way we know how: by making Snoopy hot dogs! You (or your kids) will go crazy for these sweet bento box lunches and, unlike Charlie Brown, won't say, "Why can't I have a normal dog like everyone else?"

Hot Dog Bento

Ingredients

  1. 1 hot dog
    2 small hot dog buns
    2 slices white american cheese
    1 slice nori seaweed sheets

Directions

  1. Boil hot dogs until cooked through and then cut in half. Place each hot dog into a bun.
  2. Use an x-acto or paring knife to cut eight feet and two tails out of the white cheese. Use a printed stencil to carefully cut out two dog heads out of the cheese.
  3. Use a knife to cut out two large ovals of nori for the ears, four small circles for eyes and a small arch for an eyebrow. Assemble the dogs in a box and serve with fruit and vegetables.
