Molly Shannon and Fran Drescher teamed up to voice characters in the star-studded Hotel Transylvania. We had a chance to sit down with the actresses at the Toronto Film Festival, where the movie premiered. Fran and Molly shared their thoughts on getting to work with such an awesome cast, including Adam Sandler, and wishing their monsters had more screen time. Check it out!
2010: A Year in Glee Guest Stars
We've been taking your opinions on the best of 2010 in the entertainment world as well as counting down the year's biggest headlines, but we found yet another way to measure a year. (No, it's not in love). Glee had so many celebrity cameos in 2010 that you probably can't even recollect everyone. That's why I'm here for a quick retrospective, so take a trip down memory lane with a year in Glee guest stars.

Molly Shannon Talks About Breastfeeding a "Little Piranha"
She cracked us up as Mary Katherine Gallagher and other memorable characters on Saturday Night Live, but now comedian Molly Shannon is a working mother trying to juggle it all. And, she recently told me her daily secret to staying energized — a multivitamin and a 20-minute run. The combination helps her power through eight Broadway performances a week in Promises, Promises and raise her children, Stella, 7, and Nolan, 5, with husband Fritz Chestnut. The funny lady took a few moments to share her candid thoughts on motherhood.
LilSugar: You know you’re a mother when ____?
Molly Shannon: You get thrown up on and don't care at all!
LS: Why didn’t anybody tell me _____ about motherhood?
MS: That nursing kills in the beginning! It felt like a little piranha until it settled down...when your milk comes in.
LS: What’s the best trick your parent taught you?
MS: My dad was silly and fun. He'd say do you want to go to the park and then out to have chili, and you can cut school. He would make all my friends laugh. And, they'd say, "Do it again Mr. Shannon."
Molly Shannon to Take Off the Habit For HBO Show
Mary Katherine Gallagher would be proud. HBO is developing a new comedy series for Molly Shannon, and she'll get to revisit the Catholic leanings of her famous Saturday Night Live character. In the as-yet-untitled show, Shannon will star as a nun who makes the decision to leave the convent and re-enter the world. It's rife for laughs: the ex-nun will have to acclimate herself while dealing with issues like being a virgin at 40. Seeing Molly Shannon on this week's Women of SNL Special reminded me of how much I missed her (her guest role on Glee was not enough), so I love this news. I just hope that Shannon doesn't get too nervous and put her hands in her armpits and . . . well, you know.
TV Tonight: The Women of SNL Reunite on NBC
As someone who grew up watching Saturday Night Live, I have a soft spot for sketches like Mary Katherine Gallagher, The Delicious Dish, and the Spartan cheerleaders (fun fact: I actually did a skit as Arianna in my high school talent show). So tonight's The Women of SNL special has me particularly jazzed, as several of the female veterans reunite to relive their favorite clips and bring us some new material.

Tina Fey, Ana Gasteyer, Nora Dunn, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Cheri Oteri, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon, Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch, and Kristen Wiig will all be appearing, and if this early photo of them reenacting The Real Housewives is any indication, it's going to be fun times. The special starts on NBC at 9 p.m. EDT — are you going to tune in?

See the Whole Cast of Glee Partying at Bar Marmont Last Night!
The return of Glee is just a few hours away and we're not the only ones getting excited! Last night the whole cast including new additions like Idina Menzel and Molly Shannon got together at Bar Marmont to celebrate. Inside the party, newly engaged Jane Lynch gushed about her fiancee, Lara Embry, while the show's creator Ryan Murphy showed some love for his stars. Cute Matthew Morrison and Cory Monteith posed together — check out our message from Cory in today's PopSugar Rush and enter to win a trip to LA for a Glee photo shoot!
Lea Michele lived up to her fashion-forward reputation, channeling Nicole Richie with bold new bangs while Dianna Agron looked gorgeous in her silver gown and Amber Riley in her little black and white number. Lea said her long dress was pulling double duty — not only did she look great but it also covered up a knee injury she got filming the Lady Gaga episode this week. Sounds like there's a lot to look forward to from the show, like next week's Madonna bonanza!

Cameron's Acting Bad Without Justin by Her Side in Bed
Cameron Diaz was all smiles Tuesday as she continued filming Bad Teacher in LA. During a pre-Oscars interview over the weekend she expressed her excitement to reunite with Justin Timberlake for the movie, but no signs of him on set just yet. This will be the third big screen project for the pair, having lent their voices to Shrek the Third and the upcoming Shrek Forever After. This time, however, things are interesting since they're apparently sharing an onscreen love scene that is creating headlines already!

Orlando, Miranda and Adrian Keep It Clean
Audi hosted a dinner in LA last night to celebrate their new clean diesel technology and lots of celebrities came out to celebrate. Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr were impeccably dressed and looking gorgeous as they chatted with their fellow environmentalist Christian Slater. Adrian Grenier isn't one to miss an eco-friendly event and took a break from filming Entourage to mingle with a few of his green celebrity pals.

Movie Preview: What Goes Up

The cast for What Goes Up is pretty great: Steve Coogan, Molly Shannon, Olivia Thirlby, Josh Peck, Hilary Duff and more (oooh, I love seeing Thirlby and Peck on screen together again after starring in The Wackness). It's hard to decipher what exactly is going on in the trailer (there are nerdy students, there seems to be a death) so I'll leave it to the movie's website to sum up the plot:
It is 1986. An emotionally damaged New York reporter is sent to cover the hometown hoopla for a local hero. But rather than pursue his assignment, which leaves him cold, he follows a group of disaffected students, whose own hero — their beloved, unconventional teacher — has just died under a cloud of scandal. Their passionate and, at times, ludicrous expressions of grief attract the reporter.
Interestingly, this is the kind of independent movie you'd expect to see at the larger film festivals, given the names in its ensemble cast, but it didn't, which is a thing that makes me go "hmm." The movie hits theaters in limited release May 29. To watch the trailer for yourself, read more
Mary-Kate Olsen Is on Tribeca Jury Duty
Mary-Kate Olsen continued to make the rounds at the Tribeca Film Festival yesterday, looking gorgeous in Nina Ricci and Topshop at a Chanel event at Odeon restaurant in NYC. Joining her was a scruffy Adrien Brody and the always fashion-forward Diane Kruger — whose outfit did you like more? MK is a juror at the film festival this year, and last night she talked about how excited she is, saying,
"I wish there was a class. It's a huge honor to be a part of it. I've been watching the movies. I just started, so I don't know what we do or what's going to happen. This is the first night, really. I got my pamphlet this morning. I already watched all the shorts and am going to re-watch them. This is fun."
At the end of the night Mary-Kate was spotted leaving with Bradley Cooper, but nothing romantic here — earlier in the day she was spotted kissing her BF Nate Lowman, and making new celebrity friends is probably one of the perks of being a face at the festival.
