If Titanic is one of your favorite movies of all time (duh), you're going to have some strong feelings about this news. There's going to be a theme park based on the movie in 2018 . . . well, in Dubai. It's part of a development by Twentieth Century Fox that also includes parks based on other TV shows and movies, like Aliens, Planet of the Apes, and Sons of Anarchy.

Completion of the parks is going to take a lot of time and money — about $850 million, Variety reports. That means fans will hopefully get what they pay for. "We are working on creating an immersive experience that includes motion theater simulators and will allow you to experience what it was like to be on the Titanic in an exciting way," said Jeffrey Godsick, president of Fox Consumer Products.
I can't help but think this particular idea for a theme park is a bit weird — this was a real-life event, after all, not something like the Hunger Games (getting a theme park, too). Even though it's in Dubai and you might not be able to go, what are your thoughts on a Titanic theme park?
