8 Epic Disney Park Attractions Coming in 2016

If you thought that Disney parks couldn't get any better, then you don't even know Disney at all. Famous for constantly one-upping themselves, Disneyland and Disney World are debuting new 2016 attractions that will make you fall in love with the parks all over again, from special Star Wars additions to an extension of Disneyland's Diamond Celebration and plenty of Frozen fun. We're convinced 2016 will be the best year yet.

Frozen Ever After Attraction Comes to Epcot
Anna and Elsa will make their way to Walt Disney World in early 2016, with the debut of Frozen Ever After. The attraction will be located in the Norway pavilion of the World Showcase and is destined to be a Frozen fan's Disney dream. Parkgoers will attend Arendelle's Winter Festival, stop in Troll Valley, and get serenaded with their favorite Frozen songs.

Cars Land Gets a New Luigi's Attraction
A new Luigi’s attraction, Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters, will open in early 2016 at Disney California Adventure.

Disneyland's 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration Is Extended Through Summer 2016
If you missed the epic celebration of Disneyland's 60th year (or if you loved it so much you can't get enough), then get excited — there's still time to experience "Paint the Night," "Disneyland Forever," and more. The Diamond celebration has been officially extended through Summer 2016.

Disney Springs Is Expanding
Disney Springs at Walt Disney World will soon offer "significantly more shopping, dining and entertainment amid beautiful open-air promenades, meandering springs and waterfront charm" and will feature "an eclectic and contemporary mix from Disney and other noteworthy brands." New retail shops will include Lilly Pulitzer, L’Occitane en Provence, Pandora, Tommy Bahama, Ugg, Uniqlo, and Zara, and the promising dining locations will offer cuisine ranging from a chocolate shop and a cupcake bakery to a steakhouse and a pizza joint.
A Theatrical Production of Frozen Is Coming to Disneyland
Guests can relive the magic of the movie with an elaborate stage production of Frozen, which will include "show-stopping production numbers and a few unique theatrical twists." The show is slated to start in Summer 2016 and will take place at the Hyperion Theater in Disney's California Adventure.

"Rivers of Light" Will Brighten Up Disney World's Animal Kingdom
The "Rivers of Light" show will debut in Spring 2016, and "with a waterway as its stage, the innovative new show will feature entertainers, floating lanterns, water screens and swirling animal imagery in a performance that truly brings the animal kingdom to life at night."

Season of the Force Takes Over Tomorrowland
Star Wars fanatics can travel to a galaxy far, far away with Disneyland's Season of the Force attraction. Running through 2016, Season of the Force includes Star Wars-themed menus, Space Mountain reimagined as Hyperspace Mountain, and an entire Tomorrowland area dedicated to creating an out-of-this-world atmosphere fans will love.

Soarin' Around the World Opens at Epcot
A different spin on the popular attraction Soarin' Over California will make a debut at Epcot in Disney World in 2016. Guests will be able to "journey to far-flung lands and fly above some of the world’s most unique natural landscapes and man-made wonders."
